The Academy of Music and Fine Arts offers classes that explore the fundamentals of life drawings in a variety of mediums including watercolor, pastels, and acrylics.
All skill levels are welcome. Our small class sizes enable our top-notch faculty to give each student individual instruction. Beginners are never left behind, and our instructors tailor programs for students with more advanced skill.

I am interested in purchasing the groupon for both of my kids, however there is no schedule of classes posted on your site. I want to make sure their classes are at convenient times that work with my hectic schedule. Can you please post your class times & age groups for each class?

Thanks for getting in touch! The class most appropriate for your daughter would be our Wednesday class, 6:30-8:30PM. We’ll provide her with all the materials she’ll need for the initial 4 week trial. All of our classes are held at our studio in North Hollywood (please visit contact page for directions). At the end of the 4-week trial, our instructor will work with you to come up with a supply list based on the mediums your daughter favors. Our studio is well stocked, and the list is usually not at all extensive. Please let us know if you have any more questions, we hope to meet you and your little one soon!

I’m in a similar situation as the previous commenter since my daughter is 8y.o. with good few years of art classes, but I am concerned about the hours of the class. 8:30pm on a week day is too late for her. do you have any other options?
We have a class that goes from 4:30 to 6:30 as well if an earlier time works for you.

The classes are normally $100 for a weekly 2-hour session, but we are currently running a deal on Groupon that will take the price down to $50 for a 4-week trial.
